Besides the athletic benefits of cheerleading, you will meet new friends, learn new techniques, cheers, jumps and how to do them safely,  You will be prepared for cheerleading!

Who Are the Instructors?...

Sarah Brock, who is the new Director of Football & Cheerleading and who was also named the 2006 OCCA "Cheer Coach of the Year" will be assisted by high school cheer leaders, most of whom have been through the CYO cheer program.

Coaching Staff...
Certified First Aid Staff are on duty. In addition, there will be nurse on location.

Who Can Come ?...
Youth entering grades 3 through 8 who would like to spend a week outdoors making new friends, learning new skills and having a lot of fun should sign up.  You do not have to be in the CYO program to sign up.

What's Included in the Fee?... Food, Lodging, round trip transportation to and from.  The Madeleine School in Portland is included in the fee.  A complete list of what to bring will be included in the confirmation packet you will receive when you sign up.

What Type of Activities Do We Do?... 
There are morning and afternoon activity sessions for cheerleading.  Pool time, arts and crafts, recreation, cabin time, meals, store and visiting with friends make up the general day.  Coaches talks, video tapes related to cheerleading, campfires and singing are also a part of the week.  Camp CYO is a Christian facility and prayer time will be a part of the athletes schedule with morning and evening prayers.
