BASKETBALL REFEREES
Training for first year and second year officials will
take place Nov 11th for first year and Nov 18th for first and second year officials at St. John Fisher School.
The cost will be $30 for first year officials payable to Rick Skayhan or Rick Labasan. This cost will be refunded upon successful completion of both weeks of training, the preseason jamboree and the first month of the regular season. Contracts will be available at the training sessions and at the first general meeting. They will also be available in the CYO office
starting the second week of November.

REGULAR SEASON BASKETBALL
Our Regular Basketball Season for boys and girls grades
3rd - 8th begins with a Jamboree Tournament in the
beginning of December and regular season runs eight
weeks with Championships at the end.

HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL
CYO also offers High School Basketball for boys and girls
who do not play on their high school teams.
Team registration begins on November 19th till NOON on the 28th and games
start Sunday, December 2nd. All games will be played on Sunday with the Championship Tournament in February. Coaches are required to attend the meeting on November 29th at 7pm. They will be supplied with schedules and jerseys.
If you are interested in putting a team together you can either pick up a complete registration packet at the CYO Office
or check the front office of your high school beginning November 8th. If you have further questions, please
call 503/231-9484 and ask for Jolie or Randy.
COACHES
Coaches must fill out all the required paperwork before they are allowed to work with the children in practice or games. Click below
for a link to all the forms needed. A first time coach will need to
fill out the "Coaches Application". All coaches including returning coaches must fill out a "Coaches Agreement" for each sport they
coach and a "Background Check" only once per school year.

ASEP
(AMERICAN SPORTS EDUCATION PROGRAM)
All coaches including; Head, Assistant and Intern are required to
attend one ASEP course before the end of the sport season they
are coaching to be eligible for tournament play. Once you are
certified you will not need to take the class again until notified by
CYO that the class information has been updated.
