The Cyo Camp Howard Paddle Club is proud to offer classes in Kayaking that have been designed by the ACA and taught by CYO ACA certified instructors. The Kayak Camp may be done in part, or parts, as special trips, with prior arrangements. The cost of classes are $75 for the 4-5 hour QuickStart class, and $125 for the 8-10 hour 2-day River Kayak or Essentials of River Kayak. Paddling equipment is included is the class fee. (Fees also include a $10 ACA event charge and can be waived if the participant is an active ACA/CYO member). Please see the course outlines (link below) for more information on course content. You may also call if you are unsure if prerequite classes can be bypassed due to previous paddling experience.
