WAYS TO GIVE TO CYO/CAMP HOWARD
CYO/Camp Howard is committed to offering excellent athletic and camping opportunities for youth throughout the Archdiocese of Portland. Some of the biggest challenges we face:
- Providing adequate financial aid for youth whose families cannot afford the cost of our athletic and camp program fees.
- Equipment costs related to sports and camp activities.
- Camp Howard maintenance and improvements.
You can make a difference with your generous donation. The following opportunities are ways of giving that enable CYO/Camp Howard to meet its annual needs.

Annual Fund Campaign – Annual Fund appeals are mailed to parents, coaches, youth alumni, and other friends. Donations are used primarily to provide financial aid to families who cannot afford CYO sports activities for their children as well as campership opportunities at Camp Howard. Renovation and maintenance funds of Camp Howard also come from these funds.
Matching Gifts – Double the impact of your annual gift to CYO/Camp Howard by asking your employer to match your gift. Contact your Human Resource Department to see if your employer will match your gift.
Legacy Gifts – Your will, life insurance, trust or retirement plans are vehicles for making lasting gifts to CYO/Camp Howard. Name CYO/Camp Howard as a beneficiary of your estate for a percentage or specific dollar amount. Our legal name is: CYO/Camp Howard, Portland, Oregon.

Captain's Program - The Captain’s Program is for parents, coaches, CYO alumni and other friends who lead in the support of CYO/Camp Howard with annual gifts of $1,000 or more.
Stock Donations – You can deduct the full appreciated value of a stock when you donate it to CYO/Camp Howard and avoid paying capital gains tax. Please contact us for details.
