You need to have your child to the bus stop by 1:30pm on Sunday as the buses leave at 3:00pm sharp! Buses will return from Camp Howard on Friday between 5:00 & 5:30pm depending on traffic.

For Day Camp: Monday thru Thursday, drop off is 8:00 am, buses leave at 8:30. Pick up time is 5:30 pm.
For Mini Camp: On Sunday, drop off is 1:30 pm, buses leave at 3:00/ Wednesday, pick up time is 5:30 pm.
For Weekend Camps (Family Camp not included): On Friday, drop off is 1:15 pm, buses leave at 2:00. Pick up time is Sunday around 5:30 pm.
For all Sunday thru Friday Camps: On Sunday, drop off is1:30/Pick up is on Friday at 5:30.

Camp Howard makes cabin assignments using the following criteria:

Once campers arrive at camp, they will be divided into camp units by grade level.
Once assigned to a unit, campers can link arms with the friends that they would like to cabin with.
Grade level units are as follows: 1st - 4th, 5th - 6th, 7th - 8th.
Mini Campers are in a separate unit.
If your child is wanting to cabin with a friend not in their grade level unit, we recommend that you call the CYO Office 503-231-9484 for guidance.

Health Forms are no longer required. In lieu of a specific health form we have made some changes to our online registration process by adding pertinent questions regarding your child’s health history to ensure your child’s safety and well being while at camp. Please check with your licensed medical provider to determine if your child needs a physical within 12 months of attending camp. You should consult our Register Online or Register by Fax/Mail website pages for all current health requirements prior to registration.

Call the main Portland office at (503) 231-9484 and ask for the Camp Registrar, Maryann Stewart, who can assist you to reset your password.

We do not mail out camp information/confirmation packets, but they will be available on our website by January 15th for specific camp programs. When you receive your camp confirmation email, a link to the information/confirmation packets on our website will be provided.

Yes, you may either drop off or pick up your camper directly at Camp Howard, but it is imperative that you notify our staff in advance ASAP by calling the camp office at: (503) 231-9484 or by emailing our Camp Director, Bill Fogarty, at billf@cyocamphoward.org . Pick-ups at camp on Friday must be made before 3:00pm.

Unfortunately, at this time we cannot offer multi-child discounts.
